FILMMAKER BIOS CO-DIRECTOR: KANIKA HARRIS, PhD, MPH- Dr. Kanika Harris is Executive Director of the National Association to Advance Black Birth (NAABB). She is a maternal health expert, mother, doula, and near-miss survivor of a traumatic birth experience. Listen to Me is her first film.

CO-DIRECTOR: STÉPHANIE ETIENNE, CNM, MPH- Stephanie Etienne is a midwife, herbalist, and filmmaker based in Baltimore, MD, and London, UK. She serves on the boards of several organizations dedicated to reducing maternal and infant mortality in the…
