About the event
Learn how to expand access in the workplace to disabled and neurodivergent individuals grounded in care and equity.
Disability Justice in the Workplace is grounded in disability justice principles and challenges narrow interpretations of “reasonable” accommodations and examines how productivity-centered norms often create barriers to access for disabled and neurodivergent individuals.
Participants will explore how workplace policies, physical spaces, and relational dynamics can either support or hinder self-advocacy. The workshop also highlights accommodation as an ongoing, relational practice rather than a one-time request. Participants will leave with practical tools to assess workplace environments, strengthen rights-based advocacy, and contribute to more inclusive, accessible, and affirming workplaces that value equity, dignity, and collective well-being.
